Wenbin Liu received his PhD from the University of Leeds。He taught at Imperial College London from 1991 to 1994，He has worked at the University of Kent since 1995，He was Chair Professor of Management Science and Computational Mathematics at the University of Kent Business School, Director of Management Science and Director of the Sino-British Joint Institute of Business Administration，He has rich experience in administration and teaching research。

Professor Wenbin Liu is also a professor at the Mathematics Center of Beijing Normal University, an Overseas Distinguished Professor at the Evaluation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, an overseas evaluation expert of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Director of the Evaluation Research Center of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University (jointly established by Beijing Normal University and UIC), the Executive Deputy director of the UIC-Lianfei Blockchain Research Center, and the Chinese Excellence MethodVice Chairman of Evaluation Method and Application Branch of Research Society of General Planning and Economic Mathematics, Deputy Director of Financial Technology and Algorithm Professional Committee of China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics。Professor Liu has published more than 200 academic papers, most of which have been included and cited by SCI and SSCI journals。
